Reporting a job or course Ads
The Report Job or course feature provides users with a way to directly report jobs or courses that may violate Student Employment Services This feature is specifically designed for reporting jobs that may be fraudulent, spam, fake or inaccurate.
Types of jobs or courses report:
- Offensive or discriminatory: Jobs or course Ads that appear to discriminate based on gender, age, race, religion, disability or any other characteristic may be reported with this option. Additionally, you may report jobs that have inappropriate or explicit content.
- Fake job or course Ads: Something indicates that this job does not exist. This includes scams impersonating a real company or business or companies with no ABN
- Inaccurate job or course information: There is an inaccuracy in the job or course title, description, salary/ fee, location etc. These types of issues are often not in violation of our quality standards but have some information that should be updated.
- Advertisement: when the job or course post is not for an employment or skill-building opportunity. For example, advertising services, promoting a company or app, or a job seeker advertising their resume.
- Other: If your issue does not meet one of these categories, you can select “Other” and provide a detailed description.
Please note that this tool is not used for the following:

Should your report be assessed and the job is deemed to breach our guidelines, it may be deleted or modified. It’s important to understand that submitting a report does not necessarily mean we will intervene. Nonetheless, your reports play a crucial role in helping us eliminate spam, fraudulent activities, and postings of poor quality, thereby enhancing the safety of our platform for job seekers.
